ITRA level 1,2,3 + SPRAT level 1

Goal

Practitioners at this level are able, as part of a team and with supervision of a team leader, to respond to an incident where technical rope rescue is required and carry out complex high angle rescues. This course is taught according to ITRA and SPRAT learning aims.

For

Rescue teams to respond to unknown and complex incidents in low and high angle environment.

Previous knowledge

None

  • 12 days, including assessment
  • Including : ITRA student membership, gear, lunch 
  • 10 days training in training facility 2 days assessment
  • Validation certificate : 3 years

ITRA direct entry level 3

Goal

Practitioners at this level are able, as part of a team and under supervision of a team leader, to respond to an incident where technical rope rescue is required and carry out complex high angle rescues.

For

Rescue teams which have to react on unknown and complex incidents in low and high angle environment.

Previous knowledge

ITRA rope level 1 & 2 or sound knowledge as a rope rescue technician or rope access technician level 2.
